I started my website MilitaryMoneyManual.com in 2012. I eventually took the best ideas and turned it into The Military Money Manual book in 2021. I started a podcast, The Military Money Manual, to promote the book, but I enjoyed podcasting so much I kept it going.
This site is to collect ideas and musings that don’t have a place on my other sites. It’s more personal than my other writing.
I graduated with a degree in economics from a school in Boston. No, not that one. Much of how I think about the world is informed by my economics background.
Freakonomics and The Undercover Economist were the first books that explained how the world actually worked and why things happened the way they do.
